Bochum – Ms. Enas Alwissy did an excellent job on the topic "Effects of comfort parameters on the well-being of people with dementia using the example of a relax chair" as part of her bachelor's thesis at the Ruhr West University (HRW). Congratulations again at this point!

The effects on people affected by dementia were examined using the "Wellness Nordic Relax Chair" from Arjo GmbH. Practical support was provided by the Hürtgenwald-Vossenack senior center, the Geschwister-Louis-Haus. Using three research methods (observation, BESD scale, dementia care mapping), interesting and sometimes surprising results were obtained, which call for more intensive research in the area of ​​"vibrations and dementia".
